The Parties are free to choose their own arbitrators as prescribed under the Rules of Arbitration of the Centre. Where they however fail to agree on the choice of a sole arbitrator, the appointment shall be made by the Centre from the Centre’s panel of experienced and renowned arbitrators drawn from different nationalities.
By virtue of Article 10.1 (a) of the Rules, the presiding arbitrator in a tribunal with three arbitrators shall be appointed by the Centre.
